Information of Chenopodium quinoa W., Chenopodium pallidicaule A., and Amaranthus caudatus in the database of the national bank of germplasm of Bolivia in GRIN -Global

In order to visualize the information of the Genetic Resources of High Andean Grains Chenopodium quinoa W., (quinoa), Chenopodium pallidicaule A., (cañahua), and Amaranthus caudatus (amaranth, millmi) available online in the Bank Database National Germplasm of Bolivia at GRIN-Global. The database is on a test server (Toralapa), publishing server (INIAF-Nacional La Paz www.iniaf.gob.bo) and on a working PC (INIAF-Cochabamba). The Database on the Web site allows access to information of origin and characterization with descriptive statistics, map, photographs and requests. The Database contains information from: quinoa 3178 registered accessions, inventoried 3104 and characterized 2815; Cañahua 801 records and 774 inventoried and characterized 737; And amaranthus 216 records, inventoried 208 and characterized 140. It is concluded that INIAF continues to document the Genetic Resources of High Andean Grains and other collections in the National Database of Germplasm of Bolivia in GRIN-Global. In addition it allows to observe the accessions that have variability within each characterized descriptor.
